Archery bruises

I think after my third session of archery in three months, I am beginning to get the hang of it...

Spent two hours at the range, pelting the target board with arrows. At one time, out of 16 arrows, I got 4 bulls with the rest in the inner rings and outer rings...no sweat, right?

I was almost tempted to think that I might have some elven blood in me after all (since elves in most fantasy fiction, including LOTR, are known to be skilled at using the bow)

Nah...I had to drop that wild idea...since I do not have the graceful movement and agility of an elf. Despite my small size, my mother says I still move like a lumbering bull and sleep like a pig at times...

WHAT!!!

Ouch, and my hands hurt...got blister on my thumb...

A long-overdue update

Too many things have happened for the last three months for me to effectively update everyone.

In short, let me break it down as follows:

1) Life:
Generally looking better, i still face some hiccups along the way. So as they say, "Life is full of ups and downs." It could be more true than that. I just hope that with the New Year and Lunar New Year just passed, 2006 and the Year of the Dog will turn out to be a better one. Yeah? Bless everyone!!!

2) Family
Father's as hale as ever. Recently got a bit sick with a cough, but he's recovered. There have been an invasion of mosquitoes in the last two days, but I do hope after cleaning the water--based plants around the house, the situation will improve....

3) Work

Got a new job, working as a customer service specialist in some call centre. I got a higher pay, but with it, comes greater responsilities...hey, where did I hear that phrase before? Spiderman?

4) Love

Sucks, my travesty of stage English sucks...but still being happily single...maybe I should start singing Malaysian singer Ah Nu's song "对面的女孩看过来！"
