Marching into March
By the time I write this, we have already moved halfway into March. Let me apologise to my readers for my long absence.
Many things to crap about. My younger brother's birthday fall tomorrow. Happy Birthday to my dearest, most companionable, ultra-intelligent, stubbornly determined and wickedly adorable brother! This month is your birthday...To you, as your elder brother, I can only say, you are simply GIFTED!!! Stay cool, Harry!!!
I still owe many things. Accounts of my tour in Thailand, excerpts of my stories, wise words from my degree studies...
There will be some changes coming ahead for me. I gave official notice to my company of my intention to stop working after the end date of my contract, in order to concentrate on my exams. Many had said that it was a pity that I had to go while things were going good for me. But well, when was the last time everything flowing so smoothly for me?
Nay, amigos, the sweet taste of victory and triumph can often be a short one. Enjoy your time at the top, but don't linger there or cling to old things. Be prepared to move on, as there is always another peak to climb
Before I end this post, let me sign off with an extract from my just-published post from the Lone Wolf Electronic Role-Playing Game (if you don't understand what that means, it is called "fan fiction")

Wild Horse and Livonya were to cover the inns during their search. At a few inns, there were some who cast cursory glances and scowls at the Mythenish warrior and lusty looks at the Telcharim female, but apart from one or two who tried to be adventurous, most of the occupants left them alone.
Nothing that a Kai Master and an experienced traveler like Livonya could not take care of. The citizens of Suentina generally minded their own business. And it seemed that there was a larger-than-usual number of mercenaries in the city. One of the more friendly innkeepers told them of impending war in the south.
“You’ll never know what’s happening with the nobles these days…there’s never a day without any fighting in these parts.” Mentioned the innkeeper of the Horse and the Anvil tavern, which they visited on the second day
“Those’ uns you see there?” The innkeeper pointed to a group of Lyrisian mercenaries. “They’re heading south…there’s talk that the Duke of Litari might be launching a campaign…either against them blasted Eldenoreans or the druids of Ruel…you know…those druids gives me the shivers.”
“Ever heard of this name, Terre de Bouef?”
“Eh…who’s that?”
“Oh, I picked up this name from somewhere…they say that he’s a brave knight of Sommerlund…many men have wanted to joust against him…I heard that he’s somewhere here in the Stornlands…my companion and I will like the chance to meet with such a valiant knight.” Wild Horse thought it best to play careful.
“Never heard of him. When it comes to this, we don’t stick our nose into the nobles’ business, and I would say the same to you, stranger.”
The innkeeper refused to say anymore on the subject, and both Livonya and Wild Horse agreed that they should search elsewhere.
