Toe: the aftermath

Well, ladies and gentlemen,

I suppose you would have heard me talking crap about my toe. Yeah...yeah, the toe which underwent a mini operation to have part of the ingrown toenail taken out and bandaged up...

So it is "happily ever after"? Erm...not quite. Imagine having to walk at an extremely slow speed for the next few days, or else limp around with my toe turned up.

Without my usual fast walking style, I felt like as if I have been brought down to earth. Instead ot dashing along like the Riders of Rohan (I know, I know...they are my favourite soldiers from LOTR), I had to move slowly...very slowly. Without pace, I am not my usual self, as I mentioned before.

Imagine bathing with a plastic bag wrapped around your feet, that is to prevent the bandaged toe from getting wet. Certainly very awkward.

Wearing sandals around to work and elsewhere was kinda thrilling in the beginning, but then I find myself always having to wonder if there will be a thunderstorm and rain will soak my toe so badly that my wound will fester and rot. Or if some bitchy office girl with high stiletto heels, or auntie with a very sharp umbrella will step right onto that toe and poke so deeply that my toe will never stop bleeding and my blood will flood the MRT train. (gruesome stuff for nightmares!)

I had fun taking quite a few pictures of my toe...maybe I should put it up one day, once I manage to transfer the pics from my mobile phone.

Foot fetish eh? *chuckles and laughter all around*

Till the next post...here's a post from the TOE-Man.
