A taste of clubbing
Hmm..attended a friend's birthday party at Phuture, and then popped by to Zouk.
Look, people, if you know me well enough, I am never one for clubbing. So for me, it was some kind of an eye-opener...
Well, you must think that I just come out from some prehistoric cave or rural countryside farm. "Country bumpkin"...that tag seems to suit me huh? hehe...
Tried a few mixtures of alcohol...hmm I didn't get drunk...only three possible reasons...1) I am a good drinker...2) there was more ice than alcohol in my drink ...3) I haven't drunk enough wine such that I can take on a hungry tiger like the Chinese folk hero Wu Song in "Water Margin".
Went to Zouk (boy was it crowded!) and saw all the clubbers dancing away in the hall. Seems that everyone was slowly dancing along to the trance music, gyrating their bodies to the rhythm and nodding their head in response. I joined in for a short while for the fun of it.
Anyway, I did bought a gift for my friend, who's celebrating her 21st birthday. She would be flying off to Australia to study in a few months' time (so lucky!) So she did invite many of her friends. So got to speak to them. Never had the chance to speak to so many people in one night.
Hmm, on another note, why do so many girls smoke nowadays? Okay, I should include guys as well...not that I want to be a MCP...but for girls to smoke, it doesn't make them look any better or what. And there is the health risk. Ok, I have friends who smoke but that is their choice, and I don't interfere with it. But I don't smoke and I will go all lengths to make sure my future other half (whoever she may be...) doesn't smoke or if she does, she will give up smoking.

Back to the topic, overall, this was an interesting night out (minus the fact that my clothes smelt of 2nd hand cigarette smoke). But I wouldn't rule out the possibility of going for such another session...hehe...
